| Little Warriors Preschool & Childcare and Grass Lake Community Schools are now enrolling children for the 2010-2011 school. We serve in-district and school-of-choice children ages 18 months through the 12th grade, along with offering online courses to home-schooled students, grades 7-12. Our pre-school and childcare center has flexible scheduling during the hours of 6:30 AM-6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Necessary Items for Each MS Student for 2010-2011 School Year

"Acting in the Middle" with Barb Palmer
The class is for students in grades 5 through 8, and will include, but is not limited to playing theater games, preparing for auditions, developing a character, scene, and monologue, and honing and improving acting skills.
Sessions : Wednesdays, September 15 through October 20
Time: 3:00-4:30 PM

School Bus Positions and Animal Designations
All families with children riding buses should have received information in the mail detailing their approximate morning pick-up times and their animal designations that are intended to help children identify their correct bus in the afternoon. Our buses will always line up in the same order in the afternoon to provide consistency. The first bus in line at the Middle School is closest to the baseball field in the east lot by the gymnasium. Zoey Bommarito Wins Girl Scout Contest
Grass Lake Middle School 7th Grader Zoey Bommarito won a contest to design and name a new Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan "Council's Own' (Interest Project) Badge. The badge contest was sponsored by the Jackson County Substance Abuse Prevention coalition as a way to make young girls aware of the dangers and consequences of drinking alcohol, taking drugs and smoking tobacco. In keeping with this mission, Zoey's design incorporated a "No Pressure" theme into her badge. Way to go Zoey!
